End of September… This means that Uvasdoce Fresh is immersed in preparations for its participation in Fruit Attraction 2023, one of the most important trade fairs in the fruit and vegetable sector. This is the great event where every October, for the last 15 years, Uvasdoce Fresh has been presenting all the new products for New Year’s Eve and its next season. An essential and unique fair to meet with colleagues, clients, and friends.
The start of the season has been very good, both in terms of quality and demand. On the export side, prices have been good. However, within the national panorama, it has been very difficult to maintain prices and achieve what was expected, although demand has increased considerably. The figures considered for this year are to surpass 5,000,000 kilos of own crop and to get close to 10,000,000 kilos of total annual sales, adding together purchases from farmers in the Vinalopó area and imports outside their season, which will enable them to exceed 25 million in turnover.
Among its new products, the Alicante-based company has renewed the brand image of one of its main packaging lines: “Uvasdoce Premium”. This is an insignia that has been with them for more than 15 years and in which the best of the best is selected. In addition, they are still committed to their brand “Las chuches de Uvasdoce”, where they are working to create new formats to meet the needs of their customers.
One of the main projects for 2023-2024 is the expansion of their farms and facilities to continue growing in a progressive and controlled way.
Regarding new varieties and plantations, they are working hard together with their AM Fresh group. This is going to allow them to open new doors, not only to new clients, but also to new varieties and cultivation techniques. They are very optimistic about the near future, in which there will be a great revolution in the grape world, and being part of the AM Fresh group will give them direct access to this great revolution; in fact, they will be able to participate in it from the very first minute.
